| Jan. 28th, 2008 01:20 pm delia (28th Jan, 2008) Lillian Language Practice spelling test. He peeked once. Comprehension. He did not really read the story as he was playing with his pressuure mark. He answered all the questions incorrectly.
Lunch recess He played basketball match.
Science Dissolve experiment. He paid good attention and helped out.
Math He played with coffee bean at first and did not pay attention till I took it away. He then started to follow a bit of the instruction.
Recess He put the coffee bean in his water bottle and showed his friends. Ella played with him by creating a swimming pool for the bean.
Guided study He finished his work.

Recess He needed to stay in for recess as he said 'get lost' with was cosidered rude.

| Jan. 21st, 2008 09:30 am Delia (18th Jan, 2008 PM) Lillian computer Practice typing from dance mat typing. He tried but could not really sustain using the correct fingering. He tended to use his idex finger only.
Recess He played tag a bit and then chose to rest.

Language Community worksheet. He was busy playing with pencils. I took away his pencils and had to remind him several times to get him work.
Lunch Recess He played basketball.
Science Mealworm observation. He was very interested and paid good attention.
Math How to conduct survey. He did not pay attention. He played with the plastics, flipped through pages and played with pencils.
Recess He played tag with his friends.
Guided study He did accordingly.

| Jan. 9th, 2008 10:14 am delia (9th Jan, 2008 AM) Lillian 2008-01-09 Math Likely? Worked in pairs. Harold did not pay attention and kept flipping the pages when Mr. Jupp was explaining what to do. Johnathon told him what to write and do and he followed some of the instruction.
Recess He played basketball with his friends. They took turns to shoot the ball.

| Jan. 7th, 2008 01:50 pm Delia (7th Jan, 2008) Lillian 2008-01-07 Language Practice spelling test. He peeked a few times and Mr. Jupp had him sat alone. He was a bit angry and drew lots of crosses in his book. He also told Mr. Jupp that he did not want to work because it is borning. Mr. Jupp erased the crosses for him and he asked to go to washroom to calm down. He then finished off his test. Congratulations art. He needed reminders to keep working.
Lunch Recess He played basketball with Rishikesh.
Science A frog's life cycle. He was engaged and raised his hand a lot. However did not finish the cut and paste work on time.
Math Probability. Group work. He was interested but did not really understand what was happening. He needed help to follow the group.
Recess He played tag with his classmates.
Guided Study Make folder. He did his work quietly.

Social Studies Copy directions for family tree. He needed reminders to get started.
Computer Typing. 4 things about a picture. He needed a lot of reminders to keep working. Otherwise he was checking his pressure mark.
Recess He played basketball with Rishikesh and competed to see who scored more.

He needed reminders to keep working. Making card. What words can we put on a card? He did not give ay suggestions but did look at the board and listen. He cut very nicely for the card.
Recess He played basketball with Andy.
Science Test He needed a lot of reminders to keep working. He also commented on why did he need to do so much work. He checked his pressure mark a lot.
Recess He played bad / good guy battle with his classmates.
Guided study Making animal mask. He did his work accordingly.

Recess He played basketball with Hayes.
P.E. He lie on floor a lot and pretended to roll around. Ms. Bernali did not notice though and I had to asked him stand properly many times. Catch ad throw bean bag. He did some silly throw at first. Recess He played alone at first. I asked him 'why are you not playing with your friends' then he went over to Hiroumi and asked him ' let's see who can get more shots' So he started to play basketball with Hiroumi.
Language Making comic books. Needed to ask him to stop the rough copy, showed to Mr. Jupp ad then make good copy. He spent too much time on drawing. His story did not really make sense might need some work on this. His story was.: the girl pushed the boy into the fountain. The boy said I love you to the fountain. The girl hurt her lips on fountain. The boy wait at the foutain. The boy got a fountain coin from the fountain. The boy went to a room and have a birthday party. Science Camouflage, adaptation. His attention was on and off. He was interested in the pictures but did not listen to the explanation.
Math P. 100 Adding 10 to a number. At first Harold did not pick that up but was able to do the work after 2 more trials. P. 101 He did not pay attention when Mr. Jupp was explaining.
Recess He played tag with his classmates. He listened to his friend when they asked him to rescue someone / unlock a door.
Guided study Colouring. Needed to remind him to stay in his seat and keep working a lot.

Science P. 10 what do animals eat? Experiment on How do birds use their beaks to eat? Harold used his tools to try like others but was not able to pick the best tool.
Math P.93 strategies for adding. The magic ten. He paid good attention and raised his hand to answer questios when Mr. Jupp was explaining. However he played with the corner of his book when checking answer.
Recess He played skipping rope with Andy, Lamisa, Candy and Amy.
Guided study He chose to make a card for Gohar.

| Nov. 26th, 2007 12:05 am Nove.23, 2007 (930-1130 Kelly) Science Habitats of animal--it took awhile for Harold to realize what was going on in the class. He didn't need any reminder though to copy off the words from the board. He was looking a lot to his pressure mark, which any kind of reminder or physical prompt had no use. I had to give hime a very strong negative feedback in order to stop him since he was pulling down his pants. He looked at me a couple times, although he tried to pull down his pants again, but he stopped once he saw me still checking on him.
Recess Freeze and tag with a big group (Rishikesh, ANdy...)
LA Spelling test--He did his test independently. The class was split into 2 groups to work on the play. Mr Jupp was in Harold's group since he was taking up the spot for Harry who was absent. Harold sat next to Mr Jupp, however he was still looking into another page when others were reading their lines and didn' know when to flip to the second page. Mr Jupp showed him, and since then his atention improved and followed the lines. He read his part well without any reminder. He loved the Toy story 2 movie very much. | Nov. 25th, 2007 11:39 pm Nov. 22, 2207 (930-1130 Kelly) Drama and Dance The Freeze game-Harold participated and sat down, watched the rest of the game when he lost.
Recess He played freeze and tag, followed the game rules.
LA Harold was feeling tired and yawn soon after he walked into the classroom after recess. He needed more reminder to stay paying attention and lloked at his pressure a lot. He replied me 'yah' when I approached him, however, he continue to look at the marks until I brought his arms up to the desk. He didn't know where to read when it was his turn to read the text as he was picking the plastic cover of the book or starring at the calendar or laugh. Verb--He was picking on the sticky tape on the name tag very often that I had to removed from him. Since then he was more awared of the clas and worked on his grammar book independently. | Nov. 25th, 2007 11:33 pm Nov.20, 2007 (930-1130 Kelly) Health Harold finished off his project of horizontal and vertical lines from the previous class. He stuck all the paper strips on the exact part of the paper where Ms Barnali had told them to.
Recess Chase with a big group of students including Jonathan, Sarah and Ella.
LA The 3 Billy-Gaot Gruf. Harold kept asking whether they were reading this story when he saw the projecter was on. H was very interested in the story and laughed a lot when Mr Jupp was putting voices for different characters. When it was time to read the 3 Brown Beaver from the textbook, Harold was flipping through the entire book instead of listening to this classmates reading. Mr Jupp asked him to read to prompt his attention and even then he didn't know which paragraph to read since he wasn't paying attention. After reading, he seemed to pay more attention and followed the paragraph as the class read along. He raised up his hand to answer questions when comparing the 2 stories and got the answers correct. Computer He paid great attention. He followed all the instruction. Open word and practice typing.
Recess He played basketball match with Rishikesh, Gohar, Andy, Aakarsh and Hiroumi. He looked like he was playing but he did not really understand team. As he shouted 'name pass the ball' to someone not in his team.

| Nov. 21st, 2007 10:48 am Delia (21st Nov, 2007 AM) Lillian Math test He needed reminders to keep working. Also he spent a lot of time on the drawing task. I had to direct him to finish other questions then went back to the drawing, otherwise he would not have enough time to finish the test. He did ask questions when he did not understad the questions.
Recess He played basketball with Harry, Jay and Aakarsh.
Language Beaver story. He did not pay attention when Mr. Jupp was explaining about narrator. He did start to pay attention when Mr. Jupp talked about the story. He followed along the CD as well. Reader theatre. He did not pay attention when Mr. Jupp was explaining what that is. He did start to pay attention and answer questions when he talked about the story. Writing scripts. When Mr. Jupp asked them questions about the book, he did't pay attention. He bite in finger and played with tape in book. Finding pattern. He found 2 independently and asked Mr. Jupp for help when he could not find more.
Lunch Checked his pressure mark a lot during lunch.
Lunch Recess He played basketball match with his friends.
Math P. 68, 69. He did not do his homework so he copied down the answers accordingly. Money. How to use set no. of coins to make a certain amount. He found this really hard and needed a lot of help. Toy shop activity. They got some pretend mone to buy cubes to make things for sell. He played accordingly.
Recess He played chase with Rishikesh, Gohar, Hayes and Hiroumi.
Guided Study He read books quietly.

Recess There wasn't any structured game, every one was eating and sharing their snack. Harold watched other grade to play basketball. Until the end others started to race, and Harold joined the end bit.
LA Spelling test: Harold finished the test himself, although he did look at Eric's paper, but he was more concerned about whether Eric was getting it right since Ms Jupp was helping him out through the entire test. He sat nicely on the carpet when Ms Jupp was giving everyone ideas of what they could write about their story about swimming. However, he couldn't get himself to start to write at all. He was biting his finger the whole time, even after I went up to him to remind him to start. He managed to write one sentence, and then he stopped and bit on his finger again.
